John Nicholas Kuhn

John Nicholas Kuhn, 57, of North Charleston, SC, died Monday, October 20, 2014. His funeral service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Nicky was born August 12, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Donald J. Kuhn and Judith Kuhn Garner. He was a Class A Painter for Force Protection. Nicky was a good cook and an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Judith and Valda W. Garner of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Laura Catherine Nations of North Charleston, SC; three brothers: Kevin M. Kuhn of Columbia, SC, Donald B. Kuhn and James W. Garner, both of North Charleston, SC; three sisters: Laurie Ferguson of Norfolk, VA, Valerie Burham of North Charleston, SC and Veda Courtney of Summerville, SC; two aunts, Claudia "Glenda" Shenton of Goose Creek, SC and Joan Calcutt of Newport RI; one uncle, Dennis Marren of Portsmith, RI; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; wife, Donna Webb Kuhn; sister, Colleen Garner; and brother, Thomas H. Garner.
