John Emile Kuck

John Emile Kuck, USMC (Retired), 81, of Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Juanita Harding Kuck, entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 23, 2012. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway. John was born December 15, 1931 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Fritz Henry Kuck and Louise Kuhland Kuck. He was a veteran of Korea serving in the United States Marine Corps and retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard in Supply. John was a graduate of The Citadel, Class of 1957. He is survived by his daughter, Joy Meadows Fabian (Robert) of Charleston; two grandchildren, Sara "Summer" Meadows and Taylor Kuck Meadows both of Charleston; a sister, Mary Peoples of Unicoi, TN; and two nieces, Naomi Harding of Charleston and Petra Seinwill of Summerville.
