John David Kennedy, Jr., 68, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 8, 2015. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
John was born August 10, 1946 in New York, New York, son of the late John David Kennedy and Helen Dannemiller Kennedy. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for two tours in Vietnam and worked for a specialist firm on Wall Street. John was an adventurer.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Kennedy of Riverhead, NY; niece, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Gilbert of NJ; two nephews, Matthew J. Gilbert of Atlanta, GA and James R. Gilbert of Mattituck, NY.
