John "Jack" Kelly, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Margaret "Peg" Meredith Kelly entered into eternal rest Tuesday, February 19, 2013. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist at 2:00 p.m. Rite of Committal, private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Jack was born May 16, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, son of John Henry Kelly and Alice Ward Kelly. He graduated from Davis Elkins College, Class of 1949. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in WWII. He met his wife in college and they married in 1951. He was a member of The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.. He retired in sales and marketing in Akron, Ohio. Jack was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; children: Karen L. Brown and her husband Bill of Callawassie Island, SC, Kathleen E. Kelly and Michael J. Kelly both of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: Meredith Gendron, Alexander Brown, Sean Kelly and Patrick Kelly.
