John was born May 18, 1973 in Boynton Beach, Florida, son of the late John Odaware and Mary Jacqueline Bush of Wyoming. He was a Production Process Documentation Specialist at THORNE.

He is survived by fiancé, Keely Owens of Summerville, SC; sister, Margaret Megan Harper (John Pilkington Harper); and nieces: Catherine Victoria Harper, Rebecca Margaret Harper and Madeline Olivia Harper.
