John Norman Jones

Entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 4, 2012, John Norman Jones, 69, of Summerville, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. Jones are invited to attend his funeral service in Iglesia Nueva Vida, 2427 Midland Park Road, North Charleston, SC, on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC.

John was born on May 11, 1942 in Newman, IL, the son of Alvis T. Jones and Naomi Ray Jones. He served in the United States Army, worked in commercial construction and was a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association.

He is survived by a daughter, Paula E. Jones of North Charleston, SC; two sons: Norman C. Jones and his wife Janeth of Summerville, SC and Joseph L. Jones of Indianapolis, IN; a brother, Cecil Jones of Arizona; six grandchildren: Kayleen, Michael, Chelsea, Lili, Kyle, and Cheyenne Jones. John will be missed by family and friends particularly for his wonderful sense of humor.
