John "Johnny" Charles Schulte, Jr., 31, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 19, 2015. A Gathering of Friends will be held Sunday, March 22, 2015 in James Island County Park in the Stono Shelter, at 2:00 p.m.
Schulte was born November 16, 1983 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of John Charles Schulte and Joette Baumil Schulte. He was a full-time student and server/manager at Athens Restaurant. Johnny started playing music at a young age and became a prolific song writer. He was a former member of a touring band, The Young Republicans, and was an avid runner.
He is survived by his mother, Joette B. Schulte; sister, Charlotte Elizabeth Schulte; nephew, Terrapin Oz Schulte-Hilton; uncle, Raymond Scott Baumil, cousins, Scott and Emily Baumil, and aunt, Carolyn Watson.
