John McCrady Henning, 58, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 17, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held at the graveside Saturday November 21, 2015, in St. Philips Churchyard, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

John was born in Annapolis, Maryland on November 27, 1956 the son of the late Cmdr.William Jelfs Henning,USN (Ret.) and Madge McCrady Henning. He was in the first class of Miss Masons School when it was located at the corner of Meeting Street and South Battery. He attended college preparatory school and graduated from Erskine College. John was a night dispatcher for the Charleston Branch Harbor Pilots. He was a member of the South Carolina Society, The Charleston Club and Carolina Yacht Club, and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Philip's Church.

John is survived by one brother, William J. Henning, Jr. of Charleston.
