John Wilfred Ellerbe, 83, of Summerville, South Carolina, husband of Anna Connolly Ellerbe entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 21, 2023. His Graveside Service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023, in Carolina Memorial Park, at 9:00 AM where John will be interred with his sister Myra Watson Menna. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

John was born October 23, 1939 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late John McCrae Ellerbe and Theresa Jordan Ellerbe.  He was a retired from Citi Group after 40 years of service as a Financial Advisor. 

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Anna Ellerbe of Summerville, SC; two daughters, Shannon Marie Greene of Bluffton, SC, and Victoria Ann Gamarra of Sterling, VA; and sister, Susan Ellerbe Schwiger of Johns Island, SC.

John was predeceased by a sister, Myra Watson Menna.
