John Mason Edwards, 66, of Johns Island, South Carolina, husband of Evie Susan Toler Edwards entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 26, 2017. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.

John was born June 25, 1950 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and raised in Cheraw, SC. He was the son of the late John Knight Edwards and Kathryne Courtney Edwards. He was a retired general manager with The Mills House. John was a member of Rotary, Hibernian Society, active in various Hospitality Organizations, and Autism Society.

He is survived by his wife, Susan T. Edwards of Johns Island, SC; three sons, John Mason Edwards, II (Jack), Jacob Edwards, Joseph "Joey" Edwards all of Charleston, SC; brother, Graham Edwards (Dinah) of Isle of Palms, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Kathey Thomas.
