LCDR John C. Doose, USN (Ret.), 90, of Charleston, S.C, husband of the late Iris Earlene Martin Doose, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 23, 2016. His funeral service will be held Monday, September 26, 2016, in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3360 Ashley River Road, at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. John was born November 12, 1925 in Apache, Oklahoma, son of the late Christian Gerhardt Doose and Edice Bradshaw Doose. He was a retired Naval Engineering Inspection Officer. He also worked with the Commissioners of Public Works and for the Saint Andrews Public Services District.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jerilyn D. Isaacson (Mark) of Charleston, SC, and Jacqueline D. Williams (Phil) of Charleston, SC; son, John David Doose (Sanae) of Charleston, SC; eight grandchildren: Ryan Wham (Jenifer), Justin Wham, Katie Johnson (Justin), Aubrey Isaacson, Will Isaacson, Jayce Doose (Agnès), Victoria Muir (Colin), and Serena Doose; and eight great-grandchildren: Maxwell Wham, Walker Wham, Alexandra Doose, Hannah Doose, Samuel Johnson, Julianne Altine, Emily Altine, and Abigail Inman.
