John William Day, 57, of Cayce, South Carolina, husband of Renu Day died Sunday, February 25, 2018. Burial will be private. A memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Bill was born February 23, 1961 in Charleston, South Carolina, beloved son of Betty Galloway Day and the late Jack Theodore Day. He graduated from Middleton High School and attended the University of South Carolina. Bill was a retired military contractor with KBR, working in Iraq for five years. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife, Renu Day of Cayce, SC; his mother, Betty G. Day of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister, Millie Day Gregory (William D. Gregory, Jr.) of Cary, NC; two nephews, Jordan Michael Gregory of Wilmington, NC and Benjamin Daniel Gregory of Raleigh, NC; and one great-nephew, Jack Theodore Gregory. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Theodore Day.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Highway, Charleston, SC 29407.
