John Ray Cannady

John "Johnny" Cannady, 60, of North Charleston, SC died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at a local hospital.

Born November 26, 1949 in Charleston, SC he was the son of the late Francis Watson Cannady, Sr., and Evelyn Cannady Gregory. Johnny worked in both the heating and air industry and the automotive industry. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, John R. Cannady, Jr., Summerville, SC; mother, Evelyn Cannady Gregory, Moncks Corner; wife, Linda Evans, North Charleston; brother, Francis W. Cannady and his wife Sally, Moncks Corner, SC; sister Carol Bezek and her husband Andy, Lottsburg, VA; two stepdaughters: Michelle Smith and her husband Graham, Goose Creek, SC and Sheri James and her husband Jerry, North Charleston, SC; step son Bo Eisbruckner and Tamara, North Charleston, SC; nine step grandchildren: Graham Jr., Dylan, Hunter, Lyndsi, Zachary, Paige, Heather, Tyler and Tori; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday July 20, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road. The funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 2:00PM in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel followed by cremation.
