John Foster Burkhalter, 49, of Hanahan, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest July 25, 2021. The family will receive friends, Friday, July 30, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway where a Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM.

John was born March 31, 1972 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late William Monroe Burkhalter and the late Sybil Waddell Burkhalter. He was employed in the Appliance Repair Service. John was a member of the St. Andrews Lodge 367 Masonic Order.

He is survived by seven siblings: Susan A. (Bruce) Booker of Las Vegas, NV, Rebecca Lynn Burkhalter Drew of Camden, SC, William M. Burkhalter, Jr. of Anchorage, AK, Karen L. (Anthony) Shaw of Summerville, SC, Kim M. Booker of Charleston, SC, Cynthia Beach of Henderson, NV, Ericka R. Harris of Satsop, WA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
