John L. Brouthers, age 52, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on, January 4, 2013, in Destin, Florida. He was born on June 30, 1960, in Charleston, SC, to Arthur Henry Brouthers, Jr. and Gilda Maria Spalviero Brouthers. He loved golfing and motorcycling. John is survived by his wife, Dianna Brouthers of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers, Paul Brouthers and Arthur Brouthers, III., both of Charleston, SC; sisters, Martha Brouthers and Patricia Holliday, both of Charleston, SC; and their families. A memorial gathering will be held at 4 P.M. on February 2, 2013 at J. Henry Stuhr's Mt. Pleasant Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, in John's memory.
