John "Eddie" Edward Bloomingburg, 60, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, July 3, 2017. His Funeral and Burial services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.
Eddie was born December 31, 1956 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Bruce A. and Mary Clyburn Bloomingburg. He was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. Eddie enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed restoring boats, spending time on his sailboat the "Wild Goose", and loved his dogs Annie and Sister. Eddie was a kind hearted soul who never met a stranger and would help out anyone. He will be greatly missed at the Charleston City Marina.
He is survived by his two brothers, Bruce Henry Bloomingburg of Charleston, SC, and Robert Boyce Bloomingburg of Columbia, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
