Johanna E. Savarese, 97, of Hanahan, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 30, 2025. Her service graveside service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026 in Dorchester Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Johanna was born February 3, 1928 in Somerville, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Valentine Meade and Sarah Folley Meade.

She is survived by three children: Maureen Morris (George) of Hanahan, Teresa Puhala (Edward) of Savannah and Michael N. Savarese Jr. (Ellen) of Moncks Corner; four grandsons: Steven Morris (April), Nicholas Puhala (Lisa), Christopher Morris (Tara), and Jonathan Puhala (Emily); ten great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 62 years Michael Nicholas Savarese.
