Joel Radin

October 11, 1931 — January 18, 2021

Joel Radin, 89, of Summerville, SC entered into eternal rest on January 18, 2021.

Joel was born on October 11, 1931 in Rockaway Park, New York and grew up on Staten Island, NY. He loved fishing and started his first business with his best friend, Connie O'Sullivan. They caught and sold worms and fish bait to the sporting goods stores that lined the seashore where fishermen bought their supplies. He also became an avid hunter and donated the deer meat to local families in need. After serving in the Army during the Korean War, he worked in construction and eventually became a builder on Long Island. He built thousands of development homes, 2 golf courses, and an office park.

Eventually, Joel built his own home in Strong's Neck, Setauket, NY where he and his wife Victoria raised their two children, Sheryl and Alexander and many pets along the way. It was there that he met and fell in love with his Lord, Yeshua (Jesus) and became an ordained minister with Love and Mercy Fellowship.

Joel took great pleasure in his children and grandchildren; Gabriel, Elianna, Zachariah, Neriya, Judah, Shalom who loved "Grandpa's pizza". In his later life, he enjoyed woodworking making hanukiahs, birdhouses, frames, canvasses, cooking, and gardening; but most importantly, he always looked forward to sharing the Gospel with his many unsaved friends and strangers.
