Joanne Vickers Peterson, 80, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Paul Douglas Peterson, entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 4, 2022. Her memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in St. Michael's Church, 71 Broad Street at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at St. Michaels Churchyard Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Joanne was born March 5, 1942 in Hamilton, Ontario, daughter of  the late Joseph William Vickers and May Ireland Vickers.  She was a Nurse/Mid-wife. 

She is survived by her husband, Paul Douglas Peterson of Charleston, SC; children: Andrew N.D. Peterson (Kunsang) of Bar Harbor, ME, Meghan P. Fenn (Nicholas) of Worthing, England, Molly P. Woods (Steven) of Austin, TX, and Sarah Peterson of Merrimac, MA; five grandchildren;  sister, Jane Watanabe of Port Hope, ON. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her son Timothy A.D. Peterson "TAD".
