JoAnn Swayngham Bouchillon, 78, of North Charleston, SC, wife of James H. Bouchillon died Sunday, December 2, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 6, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 12:00 noon. Entombment, Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm in Stuhr 's Northwoods Chapel. Mrs. Bouchillon was born August 4, 1934 in Easley, SC, daughter of the late Julian C. Swayngham and the late Bertha Bagwell Swayngham. She was raised by her grandmother, Elizabeth Bagwell, after her mother died. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James H. Bouchillon Jr. of North Charleston, SC; son, Randy Bouchillon and his wife Sandi of Hanahan, SC, daughter, Rhonda Mitchell of Denver, CO, five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren who she adored. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Curtis Mitchell, Sr.
