Joan Gatch Turner, 74, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, October 4, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Old Round O Cemetery, Round O will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in Stuhr's Downtown Chapel.

Joan was born January 13, 1944 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Dever Stanley Turner and Lee Oan Gatch Turner. In 1962, she graduated from the High School of Charleston. She was a graduate of North Greenville Junior College and received her Bachelors Degree from Washington Bible College in 1976. Joan was a missionary in the foreign field.

She is survived by brother, D. Stanley Turner Jr. (Cathy) of North Charleston, SC.
