Joan Marie Gaillard, 72, of Hollywood, South Carolina, wife of the late Davis Gaillard, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel at 1:00 pm, and the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior.

Joan was born August 14, 1952 in Horry County, South Carolina, daughter of the late J.D Sarvis and Lucille Johnson Sarvis. She enjoyed shopping, eating, traveling, and especially loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Gaillard of Hollywood, SC and Amy Chapman (Adam) of Ravenel, SC; grandchildren, Parker Gaillard, Conner Chapman, Riley Chapman, Tanner Chapman, and Abigail Chapman; siblings, Marsha Monteleone of Hollywood, SC and Donna Martin (Dennis) of Bayboro, SC; as well as many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Joan was also preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Rickenburg.
