Joan Helen Dovre, 82, of Charleston, SC, widow of Harold Richard Dovre entered into eternal rest Friday, October 9, 2015. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Her funeral and burial services will be Private.

Joan was born January 3, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of the late Zygmont Karwacki and Hedwig Niedzwiecki Karwacki. She was a Registered Surgical Nurse.

She is survived by her son, Richard "Rick" (Diane) Davis of Yonges Island, SC; two brothers, Edward "Ed" (Helen) Karwacki of Middletown, OH, and Thomas "Tom" (Anita) Karwacki of Wanaque, NJ.
