Jimmy Wesley Joyner, 76, widower of Rena Hampton Joyner of North Charleston, SC, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012. The relatives and friends of Jimmy Wesley Joyner are invited to attend his graveside service at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC, on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 am at J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston.

Mr. Joyner was born October 11, 1935 in Barnwell, SC, son of the late Floyd B. Joyner and Corinne Hall Joyner. He was a veteran of the US Army and of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are his three sisters: Betty Blair of Hanahan; Marie Seilinger of Manning and Janie McKendree of Atlanta, GA; three brothers: Bill Joyner of Surfside Beach; Jackie Joyner of Molino, FL and Tommy Joyner of Pensacola, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
