Jim David Tilley

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of August 1, 2011, Jim David Tilley, husband of Shelby Booth Tilley of Goose Creek, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. & Mrs. Jim Tilley are invited to attend his memorial service in Cathedral of Praise, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Road, Thursday, August 4, 2011, at 6:00 PM.  Family and friends may visit immediately following the service.  Arrangements by J. Mr. Tilley was born on December 22, 1931 in Pineville, WV the son of Otto Tilley and Lilly Easter Tilley.  Jim Tilley faithfully served his country 20 years in the United States Air Force.  He was a loving father and faithful husband.  His friends knew him as an independent man of great generosity.

He is survived by his wife, Shelby Tilley of Goose Creek, SC; son, Edward Otto Tilley and his wife Susan of North Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Matthew Tilley and Mary-Kate Tilley.
