Jessie Juanita Blocker Trejo, "Meme", 72, of Charleston, SC, wife of TSgt. Edward Mendiaz Trejo, USAF Ret. died Monday, April 15, 2013. A Memorial Service will be held May 25, 2013 in the First Christian Church of Moncks Corner, SC, at 11:00 am. Interment, Arlington National Cemetery, Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Mrs. Trejo was born August 13, 1940 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Jessie Wiggins Blocker and the late Thomas Blocker. She was a former longtime resident of Bonneau, SC., a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Her family was her life and she loved selflessly. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, TSgt. Edward Trejo USAF Ret.; son, SMSgt John Jones USAF; daughter, Kathy Jones of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Nadine "Cricket", Sarah and Michael all of Detroit, MI, Victoria and Peyton both of Charleston, SC; great-grandson, Mason of Charleston, SC; niece, Sherry Gross of Moncks Corner, SC; sisters, Doris Lomas of Williston, SC and Annette Garvin of Columbia, SC; brothers, Thomas Blocker Jr. of Goose Creek, SC and Jeff Blocker of Kings Bay, GA. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Hickman.
