Jessie Charlene Smith

Jessie Charlene Koth Smith, 78, of Summerville, South Carolina, widow of Dudley Berrain Smith, Jr., entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016, in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Jessie was born September 27, 1937 in Beaufort, SC, daughter of the late Charles Bishop Koth and Myra Brant Koth. She was a lover of art and life and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.. Jessie was a member of TOPS, and The Berkeley Artist Guild.

She is survived by her daughter, Kerry Ann Burian of Salem, VA; three sons: Dudley B. Smith, III, of Loganville, GA, Larry C. Smith of Summerville, SC, and Barry C. Smith of Greeneville, TN; two sisters, Betty Hinesley of Boca Raton, FL, and Mary Mayes of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Bobby Koth of Huger, SC, and Freddy Koth of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
