Jesse Cecil Lott, Jr., 65, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Mary Wilcoxon Lott entered into eternal rest Monday, July 28, 2014. His funeral service will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of service in the Downtown Chapel.

Jesse was born October 11, 1948 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Jesse C. Lott and Dorothy Gladys Haley Lott. He was a Retired Master Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and a local Toy Maker. Mr. Lott was a member of American Legion Post #147 and the Folly Beach Arts and Craft Guild.

He is survived by his wife Mary, of 36 years; mother, Gladys Lott, both of Charleston, SC; step-son, Gregory Brackett, Old Fort, TN; and brother, Thomas "Andy" Lott (Kathy), Charleston, SC. He was predeceased by a brother, Ricky Lott.
