Entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 11, 2010 Jesse Leonard Elsey, husband of Betty Bernice Willis Elsey.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Leonard Elsey are invited to attend the funeral services of the former in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at 11 am.  Friends may call at Stuhrs West Ashley Chapel Monday between 5 and 7 pm.

Jesse was born March 19, 1926 in Charleston, SC, the son of the late George Elsey and the late Joanna Bivens Muckenfuss.  He was a retired electrician for Cullum Mechanical Services.

He is survived by his wife of Charleston; two sons, Jesse Mickey Elsey of Ridgeville and Wilbur Leonard Elsey of North Charleston; one daughter, Janie Smoak of Orangeburg, SC; a sister, Wilma Willis of Charleston; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
