Jesse C. Coopersmith

Jesse C. Coopersmith, 53, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina entered peacefully into eternal rest, Sunday, September 7, 2025. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Rd. at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Jesse was born September 28, 1971 in Montague, MA and was the son of Alan Scott Coopersmith and Pamela Shetler Coopersmith. Living as a child in Maine and Florida, he graduated high school in Farmington, Maine and came to live in Mt. Pleasant, SC in 1990 with his family.

Working with his father in the family wall covering business, Jesse's natural creative talent helped him excel. Taking over the business when his dad passed away, Jesse continued with it for 13 years in the Charleston area and beyond, honing his skills.

Creativity and artistic talent were his gifts. He was very proud of a seaworthy boat that he hand crafted and enjoyed in the waterways of Mt. Pleasant often. There was no project he would not attempt and usually succeeded at.

He is survived by his mother Pamela Coopersmith, and his children, who were the light and joy of his life, Anna, Lucas and Amelia Coopersmith.

Jesse was a wonderful, bright part of our lives and the lives of friends far and wide. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him for a very long time.
