Jervey J. Cumbee

Jervey Julian Cumbee, Jr., 61, husband of Sandra Cumbee of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010.  The relatives and friends of Jervey Cumbee, Jr. are invited to attend his Funeral Service at the graveside in Wren's Chapel Cemetery, McClellanville, SC on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Thursday, May 12, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Cumbee was born December 10, 1948 in McClellanville, South Carolina, son of the late Jervey Julian Cumbee, Sr. and Lizzie Goins Cumbee.  He worked in metal trades as the maintenance lead man. He was a Methodist and loved to fish.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Cumbee of Oregon; sons, Jervey J. Cumbee, III and his wife, Germaine, and Chip Robert Cumbee and his wife, Shena, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC and James Leroy Cumbee of Oregon; brothers, Kenneth Cumbee and Tommie Cumbee of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Ervin Cumbee of McClellanville, SC. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Andrew Cumbee.
