Jervey Edward Coste, Sr.

Jervey Edward Coste, Sr., 74, of Johns Island, South Carolina, husband of Teresa Mae Murray Coste, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 14, 2025. His Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 19, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel at 4:00 pm, and the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior.

Jervey was born February 15, 1951 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Harold Coste and Carrie Carolyn Johnson Coste. Jervey was a professional rigger and a duct tape master. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and tinkering around the house.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Jervey is survived by his children, Jervey Edward Coste, Jr. (Lara) of Pendleton, SC, James Harold Coste of Johns Island, SC, and Jane Marie Dent (David) of Johns Island, SC; grandchildren, Chloe Coste, Dylan Austin, James Harold Coste, Jr., Joshua Coste, Ryan Beach (Bailey), and Robert Just, Jr. (Journee); and great-grandchildren, Harley, Gunner, Porter, and Braxton. In addition to his parents, Jervey was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Clark, Dale H. Coste, and Burnette Coste.

Memorial donations can be made in Jervey's memory to the SC Memorial Reef Fund.
