Jerry "Butch" Rattigan, Jr., 61, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Bonnie Riggs Rattigan entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. His family will receive friends on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Rd., North Charleston, SC. A graveside committal service will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive at 3:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Jerry was born June 14, 1959 in Pittsfield, MA, son of Gerald Rattigan, Sr. and the late Delores Hebert Rattigan. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for Navistar, Inc. Jerry graduated from Pittsfield High in Pittsfield, MA in 1977, then earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1982. Later, Jerry earned his Masters degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Jerry was a lover of the water - boating, fishing or just relaxing on the water were among his favorite things to do. He also had a knack for tinkering and working on projects in the driveway at home. He loved being active with Calvary Church of Napierville, IL and was a fan of both LSU and the New Orleans Saints football teams. Above all else, Jerry was a loving husband and father, who gave his all to his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie; son, Brandon Tyler Rattigan of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Alecia (Jase) Clark of San Antonio, TX; brother, Kevin Rattigan of Toledo, OH; father, Gerald Rattigan, Sr. of Pittsfield, MA; uncle, Rick (Sheila) Hebert of Rock Hill, SC and his dog Sadie, who was his work partner at home during COVID.

He was predeceased by his mother Delores Rattigan.
