Jerry Wayne Huckabee, 83, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on May 20, 2024. He was born on April 8, 1941, in Camden, South Carolina.

Jerry graduated from North Charleston High School in 1960 and proudly served in the United States Army.

After his service, Jerry lived with his beloved sister, Bessie W. Huckabee, for the past 40 years. They shared an unbreakable bond, traveling together and competing in square dancing competitions, creating countless cherished memories.

Jerry was known for his unwavering kindness, unconditional love, and dedication to his family. Family was the cornerstone of his life. He deeply loved his family and took great pride in being a devoted brother and uncle. His warm heart and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his beloved sister, Bessie W. Huckabee and brother, Gerald D. Huckabee (Shelly); his nephew, David W. Huckabee; his nieces: Kimberly H. Terrell (Bubba), Brianna Huckabee (Courtney), and Rhonda J. Huckabee; his great-nephews: David Kyle Huckabee (Marcy) and Seth Terrell (Caroline); his great-nieces: Brooke H. Kuskey (Kell) and Mary Karson Terrell (Hunter); and his great-great-nephews: Kade D. Kuskey (Gracelyn), Henry Wynn Kuskey, and Aaron K. Huckabee.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry D. Huckabee (Mary); his sister, Brenda Wilson; and his aunt, Alice Poozer.

A graveside service will be held on May 31, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Carolina Memorial Park, 7163 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.
