Jerrold Hodges Anderson

Jerrold Hodges Anderson, 82, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 17, 2024. His funeral service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel at 2:00 pm, and the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Jerrold was born July 11, 1941 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Frank A. Anderson and Lela Phillips Anderson. Jerrold was a retired grocer and a member of Stono Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Jerrold Anderson (Jeannie) of Hollywood, SC, Susan Peeples (Richard) of Johns Island, SC, and Richard Anderson (Michele) of Johns Island, SC; grandchildren, Megan VonderLeith (Justin), Bradley Anderson (Christen), Amanda Williams, Melissa Wigger (David), Keith Alan Williams Jr., Caroline Taylor (Aaron), and Kimberly Miles (Brandon), and 12 great-grandchildren.
