Jennifer Butler Murray, 57, of Sullivan's Island, South Carolina, suddenly passed Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
Jennifer was born October 24, 1963 in Panorama City, California, daughter of Michael Bowe Butler and the late Judith Kelly Butler. She was a third generation Costume Designer, Mike Butler's daughter and an unfathomably hard worker. The Butler family's costuming credits include such historically significant works as Mutiny on the Bounty, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, The Last of the Mohicans and Groundhog Day.
A former Ms. Red Hot Chili Pepper, she was a natural beauty and capable of incredible elegance. She was a collector of Parisian fashion pieces and Levi's overalls. A proud squeaky wheel who fought the system and flaunted her nonconformity. Those that knew her will remember an extraordinarily kind and generous person, a woman of principle, an absolute spitfire and a fiercely loyal mother.
She is survived by her four sons, Caleb James Murray, Jackson William Murray, Cooper Jones Murray and Lincoln Darius Murray.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the St Jude's Children's Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html.
