Jeffrey Spencer Tilley

Jeffrey Spencer Tilley, 38, of James Island (formerly of Greenville), SC died Monday, May 2, 2011.

Jeff was born on January 9, 1973 and was a graduate of Greenville High School. For many years he was the successful owner/operator of JT Construction in Greenville.

He was the son of Nadine and Don Rollins of Folly Beach and Eddie Tilley of Cross Hill, the grandson of Nada Banes and the late Leroy Banes of Greenwood and Achsa and Don Rollins, Sr. of Greenville.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, Jeff is survived by his beloved son Ayden Banes Tilley of Greer, his sister, Jennifer Messervy, her husband Ward and their children, Hannah Tilley, Emma and Rileigh Messervy, as well as a large extended family and many friends.

A memorial service for Jeff will be held on Saturday, May 7 at 2:00 pm at Overbrook Baptist Church, 1705 E. North Street in Greenville, SC. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Ayden Tilley Educational Fund at any branch of First Federal, or by mail to 1185 Folly Road, Charleston SC 29412.
