Jeffrey Thomas Lawson

Jeffrey Thomas Lawson, 57, of Mount Pleasant, SC, husband of Vicky Lawson, and owner of Lawson Construction, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 7, 2021. His memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in J. Henry Stuhr, Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends in the same location Monday, January 11, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Jeffrey was born June 13, 1963 in Portsmouth, Virginia, son of Franklin Thomas Lawson and Gloria Ann Lawson. He graduated from Wando High School in 1982 and was a residential contractor. He loved hunting and fishing with his son and son-in-law. He also cherished spending time with his family and his grandchildren, Kinsley and Jaxson.

He is survived by his wife, Vicky Lawson of Mt. Pleasant, SC; children, Elizabeth A. Smith (Randall) of Ridgeville, SC, Benjamin T. Lawson of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Rebecca L. Lawson of Mt. Pleasant, SC; parents, Tom and Ann Lawson of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Kinsley and Jaxson Smith of Ridgeville, SC; uncle, Lynn Oldham (Theresa) of Windsor, VA; and his buddy "Jake." Jeffrey was preceded in death by his brother, Bret Lawson.
