Jeffrey Raymond Floyd, age 64, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Julia Youmans Floyd. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, August 3, 2026, at 2:00 pm at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel. Family and friends are welcome to visit after the service and will be continuing his celebration of life at The Sullivan’s Island Club.

Born on July 8, 1962, in Charleston, South Carolina, Jeffrey was the son of the late David Wardell Floyd and Junalee Martin Floyd. As an electrician, he was passionate about his work, sharing his extensive knowledge and experience generously with others. Jeffrey also had a deep love for fishing and boating. Jeff's life was enriched by his love for the Carolina Gamecocks and the joy he found in watching his grandchildren play basketball.

He is survived by his daughters Aimee Floyd of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Bridget Holst and her husband, Jamie, as well as his grandchildren, Jamison and Riley Holst. He also leaves behind his brother, David Floyd Jr. of Florida, and his sister, Junalee "Liz" McConnell of Summerville. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dottie Floyd, and brother Timmy Floyd.
