Jeffrey Painter Beale, 75, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Cheri Anderson Beale entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 22, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 3rd, 11:00 am at Christ Episcopal Church, 2304 Hwy 17 N, Mount Pleasant, SC 29466. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel.
Jeffrey was born September 10, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late James Percy Beale and the late Dorris Marion Hall Beale. An engineer, he was an internationally recognized authority on liquefied natural gas (LNG), starting his own company, CH-IV in 1991. Jeff was a mentor to many and took pride in building a positive company culture.
Jeff loved things that go fast, as a decades long ticket holder for the Indy 500, to skiing, cycling, and boating. Family and friends were constant in Jeff’s life and he and Cheri loved hosting holidays and gatherings, wherever they lived. Jeff also shared a love of birds and wildflowers, inherited from his mother and shared with others.
He is survived by his wife of almost 53 years, Cheri; son, Jason Andrew Beale (Magritte); daughter Amanda Amotion Shipley (Dan); grandchildren Sasha and Cooper; sister Joanna, brother Jerry, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Dorris, and brothers Jim and Jon.
Memorials may be made to Central Pennsylvania Conservancy (https://donorbox.org/jeffbealebirdwatching) to create an ADA-accessible bird watching area.
