Jeff A. Worsham, 45, of Moncks Corner, SC, husband of Brenna Lynne Worsham passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Saturday, December 10, 2016. His funeral service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 in the Northwood Baptist Church, 2200 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.
Jeff was born April 4, 1971 in Charleston, SC and was a 1989 graduate of Stratford High School. He retired from Dorchester County Sheriff Department and Isle of Palms Fire Department. Fire service was his passion and he served in many different capacities including Deputy Fire Chief for Pimlico Fire Department, Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention and Inspections for Whitesville Volunteer Fire Department and Second Vice President of International Association of Arson Investigators for North Carolina and South Carolina division. Jeff was a member of the Berkeley County Chiefs' Association and National Fire Protection Association. Jeff's life was about giving and service to others. He was known as "dad' to the young dancers at Planet Dance, his wife's business where he volunteered moving props and sewing the girls' ballet shoes. Jeff was a mentor and an inspiration to young firefighters. Jeff had many interests, including spending time working on and trading cars. He was everyone's "go-to" guy and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Brenna Lynne Worsham; son, Dalton James Worsham; two stepdaughters, Sarah Paige Smith, Gabrielle Nicole Smith; and stepson, Michael Layne Smith all of Moncks Corner, SC. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Worsham Faulk.
