Jeff Cleveland Gaskins

Jeff "Neighbor" Cleveland Gaskins Sr., 94, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband to the late Myrtle A. Gaskins, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 18, 2021. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 in Northbridge Baptist Church, 1160 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. at 3:00 pm. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel.

Jeff was born August 15, 1927 in Huger, South Carolina, a son of the late Jim Daniel Gaskins and the late Ida Parsons Gaskins. He married the love of his life, Myrtle A. Gaskins, on November 21, 1948 and were married 54 years. He was the last survivor of 12 children. Jeff served in the Army during the Korean War. Following his time in the Army, he worked for Coburg Dairy for over 40 years. He was a charter member of Northbridge Baptist Church where he attended for over 50 years. He will be remembered as a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and we know he is now in Heaven.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynette G. (Ric) Flagg; his son, Jeff C. Gaskins, Jr.; his granddaughter, Melissa Lynn (Jarred) Wacaser; his grandsons, Timothy Scott Gaskins, Cody Jeffrey Gaskins and J.C. Gaskins; his great-grandchildren, Rhett Wacaser, Anna Grace Wacaser, Tristan Gaskins, Rylee Gaskins and Sawyer Gaskins.
