Jeaneva Noreene Meyer

Jeaneva Noreene Atkins Meyer, born September 27, 1917, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2012 at Ashley Park Retirement Home. She was the wife of the late William H. Meyer. Jeaneva was the daughter of the late Thomas Lawton Atkins and Geneva Estelle Haddock Atkins.

Survivors include her sisters, Carolyn Upchurch of Charleston and Marguerite Windham of Summerton, SC; brother, Henry (Stringbean) Atkins of Moncks Corner and many extended relatives.

A special thank you to Trident Home Health Services and Piedmont Hospice for their devoted care of her this past year.

A memorial service for Mrs. Meyer will be held in Coastal Light Baptist Church, 2543 Ashley River Road, Charleston, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11 am. Inurnment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
