Jean Faulkner Whitley

Jean Faulkner Whitley, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Walter Eugene Whitley, Jr., entered into eternal rest Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Grace Episcopal Church Cathedral, 98 Wentworth Street at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in Grace Church Cathedral Columbarium. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
Jean was born June 1, 1932 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Herbert Lee Faulkner and Alma Edwards Faulkner. She was a member of Grace Church Cathedral, the Sandhurst Civic Association and the Woman's Rotary Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Eugene Whitley, Jr. of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Jean Whitley McDaniel (David), Barbara Whitley Campbell (Craig) and granddaughter, Julia Irina Campbell, all of Wilmington, NC and very dear friend, Charles R. Knisley, Jr. (Buddy).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Church Cathedral, 98 Wentworth Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
