Jean Swanson Sinclair

Jean Swanson Campbell Sinclair, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Robert G. Sinclair, died on Sunday, July 9, 2023. Jean was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on October 9, 1936, the daughter of the late George and Mary Campbell and sister of the late Duncan Campbell.  She met her future husband of 61 years when he was stationed in Scotland during his service in the U.S. Navy. They traveled the United States together before choosing to settle in Charleston, SC, where she lived for the last 49 years and enjoyed gardening and the sunny weather. In addition to her husband, Jean is survived by a daughter, Sheena S. Giraud and her husband, Robert J. Giraud.

At Jean’s request, all services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jean's memory to the National Kidney Foundation,  30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
