Jean Knight Rogers

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of January 3, 2011 Jean Knight Rogers, of Charleston, SC, and widow of Francis "Frank" Carroll Rogers.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Saturday, January 8, 2011 at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 11 am.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Friday from 5 until 7 pm. 

Mrs. Rogers was born March 29, 1935 in Knightsville, SC, daughter of the late William Marvin Knight and the late Mattie Aletha Patrick Knight.  She was retired from the Commercial Insurance Industry and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane R. Barth of Henderson, NV; her son, Alan F. Rogers of Leesburg, GA; a brother, Jennings Knight of Charleston; a sister, Jessie Morgan of Charleston; four grandchildren, Rachel Rogers, Steven Rogers, Kelsey Rogers, and Alex Barth.  Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by a son, Richard C. Rogers.
