Jean Eileen Butch Meyers, 92, of Mount Pleasant, SC, formerly of Dunwoody, GA, was called home to be with her Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Jean was born December 23, 1933 in Logansport, Indiana, the oldest daughter of the late Alexander Peter Butch and the late Gennetta Marie Buchholz Butch. She will be remembered for the way she loved her family. She was a strong woman of faith and missed not being able to attend church in her later years. She was always happiest when her great grandson came to see her. He was the light of her life.

She is survived by three children, Jennie Burroughs (Bob) of Beaufort, SC, Lisa Meyers of Dunwoody, GA, and Jeff Meyers (Jeanie) of Mount Pleasant, SC; four grandchildren, Alex Meyers, David Michael Mothershed (Margaret), Caroline Atkinson (Spencer), and Zach Burroughs; and one great grandson, Harbor Atkinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Max Meyers & her sister Sandra Bickhart.

Her memorial service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 in the Lutheran Church of the Ascension, at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.
