Jean Louise DeBerry Griffin, 78, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Mack D. Griffin, entered into eternal rest Monday, January 14, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held at the graveside in Live Oak Memorial Gardens Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Wednesday between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Mrs.Griffin was born May 17, 1934 in Pamplico, South Carolina, daughter of Stephen Angus DeBerry and Edna Pierce DeBerry. She was a proud housewife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Griffin; Jan G. Jacobson, brother, Angus DeBerry (Pauline) of Pamplico, SC, grandchildren Stephanie Grindle (Bryan), Trey Holliday, Joseph Jacobson (Allison), Sophie Jacobson, Aaron Jacobson, great grandchildren Drew Grindle, and Laurel Grindle.
