Jasper Cornelius White

Jasper C. White, 93, of Ravenel, South Carolina, widower of Avis Lee Barrentine White, entered into eternal rest Saturday, September 10, 2022. His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Jasper was born July 16, 1929 in Rains, South Carolina, son of the late Clarence Pickett White and the late Florrie Richardson White. He was a retired Farm Manager with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. 

Jasper is survived by his daughter, Wilma W. Rice (Allan) of Charleston, SC; son, Mickie Cornelius White (Ann) of Scandia, KS; sister, Betty Mizzell of James Island, SC; and nine grandchildren, William White, Melanie Alkire, Ray Stokes, Michael Rice, Mary Catherine Rice, Christina DeMiere, Harrison Rice, Abbie Garman and Jennie Garman. He was preceded in death by two sons, Clarence William White, Gerald Whitford White; and two grandchildren, Jonathan White and Melissa White.
