Jason Willard Therrell, 62, of Goose Creek, SC, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017. His funeral service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Charleston Calvary Church of The Nazarene, 541 Red Bank Road at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Jason was born July 12, 1954 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Lynwood Therrell and the late Lila Mae Hiers Therrell. He served in the Marine Corps Reserve and was employed with Trident Technical College. He was an avid Clemson and NY Yankees fan. He also traveled the state playing on softball teams. Jason loved God and faithfully gave of his time and talents to Charleston Calvary Church of the Nazarene. He was a loving husband and adored his children and grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Ann Walker Therell; son, Jay Therrell; and daughter, Michaela Therrell all of Goose Creek, SC; grandson, Levi Therrell; sister, Jean Testa of Summerville, SC, brother, Lynwood "Junior" Therrell (Jeanette) of Goose Creek, SC; sister, Hazel Ammerman (Stanley) of Pimlico, SC; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Steamy" Therrell and brother-in-law, Nick Testa.
